Based on the great energy density and large power density merits of the actuators of combustion hopping driving, the thermodynamics model of the actuators was established to study the driving pressure and hopping velocity of the cylinder during driving hopping process. The dynamics and thermodynamics process were analyzed respectively. The thermodynamics simulation was conducted to analyze the pressure and velocity of the cylinder and payload changing with the displacement and time by the Runge-Kutta method. The results show that the pressure rises quite quickly at the beginning of the driving process;the driving pressure and taking off velocity almost are not affected by combustion quality and combustion time, but the combustion efficiency affects them greatly.
