In order to research the influences of angular misalignment errors of axes to the test result of laser angle interferometer with indexing table, the operational principle of laser angle interferometer with indexing table was described, then an error model of angular misalignment was proposed according to the geometric characteristics of the optical path. The influence caused by errors due to angular misalignment of axes changing for the rotary angle error was studied. The error control measures was conformed, in order to make sure final accuracy within ±1″. A comparison experiment between an autocollimator with high accuracy calcite prism and laser angle interferometer with indexing table was completed,for introducing error model. The experimental result was improved,and the maximum difference between the measurements was reduced to -052″．The results show that the error model is accurate, which has application value in evaluating and improving the accuracy of the measurement system.
