At present, the pumping machine reducer double circular arc gears is broken after a period of time with a single tooth or multiple teeth broken at intervals, and the existing repair methods are inefficient. In response to this situation, a cutting machine tool was proposed to design a remanufactured double arc gear for reworking after repair, and the feasibility of single tooth machining of remanufactured double arc gear was verified. Combined with the theory of single tooth spreading machining of remanufactured double arc gears, the design of tool motion parts, tooth directional spiral feed parts, tooth spreading feed parts and workpiece motion parts of the single tooth machining machine was carried out, finally the single tooth cutting machine of remanufactured double arc gear that could meet the machining requirements was acquired. After analyzing the error of single tooth machining of remanufactured double arc gears, a method was proposed to reduce the error of axial tooth pitch of remanufactured double arc gears.
