Abstract:The three-dimensional(3-D)solid model of the high pressure emulsion pump box was established with SolidWorks 3-D software by taking the study object of mechanism of joint rod of the crankshaft of the BRK500/37.5 high pressure emulsion pump. The force analysis of the crankshaft was conducted by using selfdeveloped of a system for calculating the force of crankshaft automatically, and then the changing rule of the crankshaft load was obtained. With five most dangerous working conditions selected, the completed model was imported into the ANSYS WORKBENCH software by using the seamless connection between ANSYS WORKBENCH and SolidWorks, the static analysis of the crankshaft was carried out, and the stress and the strain distortion conditions of the crankshaft were determined. It was proved that in aspects of strength and stiffness of crankshaft, working requirements were met. Moreover modal analysis was carried out on the crankshaft under free and restrained conditions, in addition, the natural frequencies and models of vibration of the crankshaft were obtained through calculation, and the results from these two kinds of modal analysis were compared, which prove that the crankshaft has good dynamic characteristics with quite reasonable structural design. The analysis results can offer a basis for the optimization and the improvement of design of the structure of crankshaft of the emulsion pump.
