The working principle of the hydraulic damping descent control device was introduced. The system model was set up by the virtual simulation platform AMESim. The relationship between the descent speed and the orifice diameter of the flow control valve was analyzed. The reasonable orifice diameter was determined. The working performance of the hydraulic damping descent control device under different load conditions were analyzed. The results show that the descent control device meets the requirements. The simulation results can guide the production and use of the hydraulic damping descent control device.
