The numerical simulation methods about the performance of hydrostatic spindle were presented.A finite volume method based on computational fluid dynamics software FLUENT was put forward to forecast the spindle performance.By matching the key parameters such as the throttle aperture and the oil film gap,the better performance of the same size spindle was achieved,to guide the structural design of the spindle.The change of the load bearing capacity of the spindle was obtained by testing and analyzing the pressure vibration of the hydrostatic station,and then the change of the spindle rotation axis could be calculated,finally the effect rule of pressure vibration on spindle rotation accuracy could be obtained.
