Abstract:The corner milling is inevitable in the process of mold cavities,and the milling force is an important factor affecting workpiece quality and tool life.The micro element cutting edge method was conducted to establish the milling force mold of 90°corner,in which the parameters of the cutter,feed rate and tool rotation angle were taken as parameters.Based on MATLAB GUI module,the corner milling force simulation software was developed for the simulation experiment,and the simulation results were compared with the measured results by dynamometer.The results show that the simulation software can be used to effectively predict the milling force in corner milling.It provides reference and theoretical support for actual machining.
