Taking the Xinsong SR04C industrial robot as the object, a method of combining the laser displacement sensor and the standard template is proposed to locate the end position of the industrial robot. The detection system was mainly composed of a laser displacement sensor and a standard template. The experimental results were verified by Application Programming Interface(API) software. The results show that the absolute positioning accuracy of the industrial robot after calibration has been significantly improved.
