Abstract:For the problem of production debugging caused by workpiece layout changes or approximate workpiece replacement in industrial robot applications, a workpiece parameter setting scheme based on ABB industrial robot was proposed,including the design of coordinate calculation program based on the layout parameters and design of the Offs data calculation program based on the shape parameters. Through designing the RS232 communication program of Mitsubishi PLC and ABB robot,the system communication of touch screen, PLC and robot were realized.On the basis of communication, the real number transmission module and the system flow were designed, so as to achieve the adjustment and reproduction of the robot work track by setting the workpiece parameters through the touch screen.The design achieves the goal of improving the flexibility of ABB robot workstation and the production efficiency.
