Abstract:Load Aggregators (LA) delegate Demand Response Resources (DRRs) as a whole to bid is popular in electricity markets. This paper proposes an Information Architecture and Data Distribution System (DDS) to disseminate price signals clearly and effectively in a multiagent system (MAS) made up by an LA agent and several load agents. We assume the MAS is fully integration of ICT infrastructure. As a protocol used to interact between agents within the MAS, IA supports pricing, time interval, proposed intention and service level related information exchange between agents. For emergency scenario, the fast and realtime communication is urged, so we propose a real time middleware DDS addressing publishsubscribe communications. The MAS, combined by IA and DDS, forms a transactive framework for scheduling, authorizing, controlling, and aggregating DRRs, enabling the technologies in improving the performances of the power grid.
