Abstract:Aiming at the complexity of modeling and numerical simulation of involute bevel gear and the difficulty of structured hexahedron mesh division, a parameterization method of involute bevel gear modeling and mesh division was proposed, a bevel gear modeling and grid division parameterized simulation analysis software platform was built through programming. A parameterized main program was written with C++ language, the graphical interface was visualized, and the main parameter input module of bevel gear was built. Based on the involute mathematical model and the main parameters of bevel gear, the position coordinates of interpolation points were established accurately, and the block-merged hexahedron mesh generation method of bevel gear profile involute and 3D solid structure was put forward. The platform has the advantages of fast modeling speed of involute bevel gear, high precision of structured smooth hexahedron mesh, quick and convenient operation of dynamic analysis. It provides a parameterized modeling and simulation platform for finite element structured hexahedron mesh division and dynamic analysis of bevel gears.
