The guide-ways straightness has a significant influence on accuracy and stability of measuring equipment.It was detected by experimental platform. Following this experimental study,the reason of measurement error was analyzed, the three guide-ways movement trends were summed up and the measurement errors were calculated. The measurement error was reduced to micron leve by using simple mechanical device to adjust.
