Abstract:Interference detection is the key issue in the propeller CNC machining. If interference occurs in the process, the machine will be destroyed or even significant losses are resulted in. Propeller machining simulation platform was built based on UG software. With the platform, propeller process simulation and interference analysis were carried out.The NC program was checked in a virtual environment to judge whether there was interference.At the interference points found in the virtual simulation process, tool axis vectors were adjusted automatically, no interference tool axis vector data were calculated, the NC program was optimized.So collisions can be avoided, NC programming efficiency is increased.
