Abstract:In order to solve problems of aircraft inlet spraying poor conditions, low efficiency and poor precision coating in aviation manufacturing of China, a kind of aircraft inlet spraying off-line programming system was developed. By using VC++ language, a CATIA secondary development method was proposed. Based on the spray width consistent principle, according to the structural characteristics of inlet and spraying algorithm, the spraying trajectory of inlet line was made. The spraying trajectory simulation experiment was carried out, the three-dimensional (3-D) coordinates of spraying trajectory points were acquired and output in the simulation, and the 3-D coordinates of track points were transferred to the spraying robot controller to realize spraying operation immediately. The actual spraying effect shows that the robot off-line programming system not only has practical feasibility, but also have the advantages of improving the working environment of workers, spray coating with high precision and shorten the time of spraying, which is applicable to different types of aircraft inlet spraying operations.
