Abstract:Using dynamic mesh model offered by FLUENT, numerical simulation and visual analysis were conducted on the motion characteristics of three groups export ball valve and the flow field of the rotor pump. Movement parameters curve of export ball valve and flow field distribution of rotor pump were obtained. Simulation results show that: speed, lift and force of three groups ball valve are periodical changes with the rotation of the rotor. Because of the differences of the initial and boundary conditions, the obtained curves and the mathematical model curves of the ball valve are different, but the change trends are consistent; in the rotor mutual engagement areas, pressure value is the minimum and gradient change is the maximum, and the minimum is also changing with the rotation of the rotor.
