For the status of off-line programming technology in the field of digital assembly technology in aircraft, the intelligent path planning method for forebody assembly platform was put forward, in which the one-way best value method was used to plan offline path for tool positioning unit. The offline software with path planning, lightweight model assembly simulation and path coordinate output functions was developed, so the forebody assembly platform was done the planning of real work in offline case. Positioning accuracy of flexible work and work efficiency were improved.
