Abstract:PROE was used for modeling. The static finite element analysis (FEA) of the gear pump was done by using software Workbench, and the size and distribution of stress, strain and deformation of the gear in the work process were calculated. The results show that through increasing the dedendum circle radius and chamfer, reduce stress concentration is reduced. Reducing tooth top circle radius of the gear has the advantage of more compact structure, and increasing the tooth thickness, the tooth top deformation is reduced. The analysis results provide reference for the gear pump in the process of working to improve the service life of the gear, prevent tooth fracture, and to make reasonable processing for gear, and etc.
