For designing the virtual prototype of hydropneumatic suspension system, a method of cosimulation based on ADAMS and AMESim was put forward. The 1/12 vehicle dynamic model of hydropneumatic suspension system was established in ADAMS. The hydraulic and control system model was accomplished in AMESim. Last the interface port between the two simulation software was set. Through cosimulation, the dynamic responses analyses under different shock inputs were fulfilled. Virtual test results shows a good consistency of working characteristics of the practical hydropneumatic suspension system and verifies the validity of the established model.
