Abstract:Aimed at the problem of structural safety of hydraulic rotary vane actuators of one steel plant, the three dimensional (3-D) model of the hydraulic rotary vane actuators was created by using the Pro/E software, and transmitted into the finite element analysis (FEA) software ANSYS Workbench. By using the FEA software with the static structural analysis module, the stress, strain and contact state of actuators were analyzed, and stress distribution and deformation conditions were obtained. The results show that the antideformation and intensity performance of the actuators can meet requirements of production. By comparing the result of deformation test on related parts under actual oil pressure with the theory ANSYS Workbenches' result, the actual deformation of the actuators is basically consistent with the theoretical analysis. It also shows that the model of the hydraulic rotary actuators created by ANSYS Workbench software is correct and reliable.
