Abstract:To solve the problems of low efficiency and high energy consumption of engine in the working process, the paver power-adaptive control system was proposed. In this system, the throttle was divided into several grades based on different power consumption of different paving width and the reasonable distribution of power between screw system and walking system was regulated to make sure the engine always worked on the governor characteristic curve and the output speed was stable while the power utilization was reasonable. Firstly, based on the principle of power adaptive, power consumption of some main parts of the paver was analyzed. On the basis, the performance of paver power adaptive control system was analyzed through modeling and simulation, and with the simulation interface of AMESim, and curves were gained. The results show the paver power-adaptive control system does well in improving the working efficiency.
