According to the requirements of high speed, high precision and reliability for the forging manipulator, the circuit of the hydraulic buffer system was designed and the simulation study was carried out by the AMESim software. The influences of the relief pressure on the hydraulic buffer system were analyzed. In order to analyze the dynamic response of the system, the simulation model of the hydraulic buffer system was built on the software Simulink. The simulation results show that the system design can meet the need of the forging manipulator, and it can provide reference for the design of the hydraulic buffer system of the forging manipulator.
