In order to obtain the excellent tribology morphology of ZCuSn10Zn2 alloy, laser surface texturing process was used to perform patterning on specimen surface. Confocal microscopy and X ray stress meter were utilized to test the surface morphology and residual stress. The effect of different laser parameters on antiwear performance was investigated. Results show that the surface roughness increases with the increasing of laser power. With the increasing of laser power, the depth of microgrooves increase first and then decrease. Positive correlation between working electric current and width is found. A large residual tensile stress remained on the treated surface which has a obvious ascend trend with the increasing working electric current. The study provides a basic data for further investigating of laser surface microtexturing on ZCuSn10Zn2 alloy.
