Aimed at a single signal monitoring tool failure problem of existence state, the monitoring method of fusion recognition tool failure of current signal and vibration signal was presented. The monitoring signal preprocessing and feature extraction method were researched, the parameters fusion model of tool failure monitoring was established using finite element analysis software,the realtime criterion of tool failure was got. Research results show that the characteristics of current signal and vibration signal fusion methods can effectively improve the online identification of tool failure monitoring accuracy and stability.
