Abstract:In the grinding process, the airflow field in grinding zone has influence on the quality of workpiece in machining, due to large amount of cooling fluid was blocked in the grinding zone running smoothly causing emission of grinding heat effected. In order to improve grinding quality, it is a must to find out and master the basic features of airflow field in grinding zone. By using mathematical simulation method, and using finite element simulation analysis software, the airflow was simulated under different machining conditions. Therefore the conditions of pressure distribution of airflow and airflow velocity in grinding zone were obtained. Finally established the experimental test platform, the pressure distribution contour in grinding zone was tested and obtained. Compared with the analysis of simulation and experimental results, the airflow pressure and distribution law are concluded.
