The mechanism composition, operational principle and technical requirements of oil spill recovery system were introduced. Based on load sensing technology, the open hydraulic system of the equipment was designed. The hydraulic system was composed of main line, control line of conveyorbelt, control line of oil pump, control line of cutter, control line of oil guide arm, control line of hydraulic hoist. Parameter design of the hydraulic system was researched.
