Ultrasonic motor has the characteristics of fast response and high positioning accuracy. The ARM controller has quick computing speed. A design scheme of high precision height automatic adjustment system for NC cutting machine was put forward based on ultrasonic motor and ARM controller. The sensor circuit for detecting the microcapacitance, the ARM controller and the driving control circuit of ultrasonic motor were designed. The experimental results were analyzed.
