Abstract:A new type of hydraulic testbed mode was proposed. The testbed was integrated, which was able to achieve bidirectional variable displacement hydraulic pump, motor performance tests in both energy recovery mode and regular mode. By fully using the power saving mode and the normal mode complementarity, the lowpower pump was used to drive highpower pump. Also by using the conventional mode, the issues were solved as test dysfunction, unable to measure output flow and others under the energy recovery mode. In the testbed, the issues were optimized as the too quick pressure changing, big pulsation, tested pump and drive motor flow not matched under the previous energy recovery mode, pressure regulators were regulated with high precision and wider range, and energy efficiency and system response were all significantly enhanced. Respectively the tested pump output pressure were tested and compared in the normal mode and energy recovery mode, by using the detection of specific examples to illustrate the working principle and innovation. Experimental data show that the system operation is stable and reliable, the desired design requirements are achieved.
