Through the study of horizontal waste briquetting machines, the reverse feeding mechanism driven by hydraulic pressure was designed. Solidworks was used to model for six linkage reverse mechanism, and ADAMS simulation software was used to simulate motion for the designed mechanism.The objective function was established that aimed at obtaining a hydraulic cylinders minimum lifting force. The optimum position of the layout of hydraulic cylinder was solved, and a reasonable hydraulic circuit was designed. The feeding process is made more smoothly, the cost investment is reduced and the energy waste is cut down.
