A special gauge for diametric measuring of male cone was introduced. The technical requirement of measured factor, the measuring principle as well as the structure programme and manufacture of the gauge were analyzed. The operation method of this gauge was described in detail. By using this special gauge, the diameter and the roundness of male cone can be measured quickly and accurately, the measuring precision and efficiency can be increased.
