Abstract:It is important how to use manipulator to improve the automation level of production, reduce the labor intensity of the operator and realize safety production. By selecting a manipulator with five degree of freedom (5DOF), capable of moving vertical and hordizontally, and rotating freely in ±90°, the design scheme of manipulator control system was proposed based on MCGS configuration software. The working process of manipulator was timely controlled and monitored in graphics with MCGS configuration software that showed the action process of manipulator with animation form. At the same time, by using pragrammable logical controller (PLC) as the controller of this system, the automation level of the manipulator control system was improved through the corresponding instruction to realize the control requirements of manipulator. The research provides the design basis for the intelligent control of manipulator.
