By taking the hydraulic torque converter assembly as the research object, aimed to improve the management ability of assembly shop with baisis of analyzing the current management defects of assembly shop, the function modules were designed which included basic data management, production management, quality management and system maintenance management of MES system. Finally the framework of MES system of assembly production was built, which serves for the implemation of the system.
