Abstract:In order to better optimization the turret system of hobbing machine and improve the cutting performance, aim at a hobbing machine turret, the relationship among heat generation, heat transfer and heat dissipation of the turret were built, the steady state analysis and transient analysis were analyzed by considering the contact resistance between joint surfaces, and the thermal displacement of each components were calculated with the analysis result mentioned above were taken as thermal load. The simulation results show that the bearings and cuttingsystem are two main heat sources of the hobbing machine used in the research, which can cause an obvious displacement on the hobbing arbor and hobbing cutter. The axial displacement is a big influence factor to the hobbing accuracy, therefore, the compensation method shall be adopted.
