A control system was designed for cartesian coordinate gluerobot based on programmable logical controller (PLC). The control system could be used to teach the robot, and to playback the teaching program for movement and trace to realize continuous manufacturing of gluing work. The structure of the system software is simple, reliable, and good in real time, and the hardware is highly costeffective.
