The composition of the hydraulic control system of the ZDB400type broken belt catcher was introduced. Graphical modeling approach of AMESim simulation software was used to establish the simulation model of the hydraulic control system of the broken belt catcher. Through analyzing the response of the hydraulic system before and after the broken, the system pressure curves, the pressure curves of hydraulic cylinder rodless chamber and the piston displacement curves were gotten. It provides valuable reference for the optimization of the broken belt catcher.
