Abstract:Connecting rod is one of the important transmission parts in engine. Precision of bolt holes connecting rod body and rod cap directly affects the working accuracy of connecting rod. Through analyzing processing difficulty of bolt holes in connecting rod and comparing the pros and cons of traditional processing methods, a new process scheme was proposed which could be used to process multiconnecting rods at the same time by double location and three sides. Through analyzing the machine process methods, motion assembly, accuracy requirements, automation and production efficiency, the overall layout of the machine was determined. The structures of backend five main shaft gearbox and feed CNC sliding table were highlighted. Production practice shows that process and equipment designed can be used to make connecting rod bolt productivity increase by about 30%, and product qualification rate reachs more than 98%.
