Abstract:Aiming at renewable wave energy, the current situations of wave development at home and abroad were analyzed. The typical characteristics of wave power generation were researched. A new type of linkage pontoontype ocean wave power generation device was presented. The methods of improving conversion efficiency by means of resonance and optimum hydraulic design were elaborated. The device is capable to absorb, store and convert wave energy, overcome the adverse effect of tidal level, as well as protect the coast bank. Without underwater mechanism, rust and corrosion can be avoided. With its working reliability and economical feasibility, the device is worth of popularization.
