The structure of a new sewer dredging robot of wireless communication system was introduced. It put forward a wireless communication strategy based on ZigBee technology. Aimed at the sewer wall having shielding effect on signal, the communication system was used of the star network of topology in structure. A router node of the ZigBee network was put and placed on the wellhead, which was used as transmission the data between the ground controller and robot, to ensure the stability of the signal transmission. The diagram of the ground console of robot was also designed. Command transmission protocol of control system was drafted. The result of the experiment shows that the communication system can transmit data stably and meet the needs of the working environment.
