Abstract:Aimed at the characteristic deficiency of a moving coil linear motor (MCLM), such as the output electromagnetic force, response time and response speed, and based on the time constant and currents effected by inductance and resistance of the transformation coils in combination, the carrying current coils of MCLM were adopted a transformation method of segmentation and combination. The mathematical modeling and simulation analysis for the response time, output displacement, output electromagnetic force, and acceleration of MCLM were carried out respectively. Results show that the step response of displacement of the MCLM with parallel designed and uniformly segmented coils can be decreased in 994 ms from the original 146 ms, the response speed is increased by at least 1 time, the output electromagnetic force is improved from the original 108 N to 932 N, and the acceleration is also increased to 8 times in the step input signal.
