A type of spool valve with new sealing structure was developed. The outer valve body, sealed with glyd ring,was cylindric instead of multistage step sealing structure. The valve plug was also sealed by glyd ring instead of clearance fitting. The new spool valve is simply and requires less machining precision. Test shows that the spool valve has better sealed performance and less leakage, which meets the requirement of the system.
