Abstract:In order to achieve better self adaptability, combing advantage of fuzzy control and advantage of conventional PID control, fuzzy PID control method was proposed in lockup clutch slipping control. First of all, through the establishment of fuzzy rules and fuzzy reasoning, three parameters of PID was determined, slipping control of the lockup clutch was implemented by PID controller. The computer simulation results show that compared with the conventional PID controller, the fuzzy PID controller improves the response speed of the system, and it has a good stability. The conventional PID controller can make the car more smooth and faster start and change gear more smoothly.
