Based on AdvantEdge simulation software,the geometric angle of taper end milling cutter of 2226148 alloy was calculated by using two dimensional orthogonal cutting simulation,to obtain the best actual angle, forward angle, radial rake angle, cutting edge radius and helix angle. The experimental results prove that the cutting performance of the post wave edge taper milling cutter is excellent by using the numerical simulation of cutting process,its comprehensive performance achieves the same level of imported SECO tool. The performance of cutting tool has obvious improvement, having conditions for mass application.
