A kind of highly effective selfcentering mandrel fixture based on inclinedwedge used to grind gears was introduced. According to the request of gear grinding to fixture, the location and clamping principle was analyzed, a reasonable project was given and all the parts of this mandrel fixture were designed. Then manufacturing process analysis for important parts was done to make the assembled mandrel reach the assembling accuracy request.
