A kind of compound control strategies based on proportion integration differential (PID) control and sliding mode variable structure control is put forward. The mathematical model of electro-hydraulic actuator (EHA) was set up, the simulation anslysis of system was completed, and the comprehensive performance of the three-ring PID control system and the compound control system were compared. The results show better rapidity of the system and certain robustness of compound control strategies.
