Abstract:For the problem that vibration of diesel engine and generator was easy to cause the local resonance of the upper case, according to the natural frequency of the upper box cooler, combined with vibration isolation method, under the condition of reducing vibration of the cooler, a hanging type installation method for new type cooler was design and the vibration isolator was designed again. The natural frequency of the cooler was very low, therefore,the method of isolation was used to isolate the cooler with the base,to block high frequency vibration from the cooler transmitted to the base. First Benstone vibration data acquisition instrument was used to collect vibration data of mark position of the upper box body,which were compared with the vibration data set by international standards to determine the excessive vibration speed position.Then LMS vibration test equipment was used to carry out experimental modal analysis to the natural frequency of cooler of upper case, the natural frequency of the cooler could be known by the specific rigid body modal test data. According to this , a new type of suspension cooler was designed.At last the finite element modal analysis software was applied to make harmonic analysis of the new designed cooler.The analysis results after installing the rubber vibration isolator,the vibration frequency of the suspension mounting type cooler is significantly reduced.
