According to the structural features and riveting pressure requirements of turbocharger housing,a locating method of one plane and two pits and a topdown automatic clamping device were designed,then a riveting pressure machine of double location work at the same time was designed. According to the assembly relationship, the riveting force was calculated, then the riveting cylinder was selected. The feasibility of the riveting machine was verified with NXNastran finite element analysis. The riveting pressure machine design is completed, the quality and efficiency are improved
