Abstract:The grinding strip is a very important part in magnetic force grinding system, which directly affects the precision of workpiece grinding. In view of the problem of easy wear and short life of the grinding strip in the actual machining, the three aspects were studied from the choice of the grinding bar, the selection of the binder and the improvement of the grinding strip structure. The optimal machining process of the new structure grinding strip was determined by experiment. Not only the grinding accuracy was ensured,but also the wear of the grinding strip was reduced to improve the service life of the new structure. The comparison experiment between the new structure and the original structure was made. The results show that the new structure is not only less weared, but also has higher grinding precision.
