Thrust system is one of the key systems of shield machine.The commonlyused two kinds of control mode of shield machine thrust hydraulic system,including proportional pressure reducing valve control and proportional speed control valve control,were expounded.When the load changes,the thrust cylinder’s stable speed is the key to guarantee the excavation face stability,and to prevent damage to excavation face.AMESim simulation software was used to simulate the two kinds of control mode of thrust hydraulic system.The results reveal that the proportional speed control valve system is more stable and has enough rigidity compared with the proportional pressure control valve system.The purpose of guiding the design of hydraulic system of shield machine is achieved.
