Abstract:To improve the power generation efficiency of stair piezoelectric harvester, an isostress piezoelectric harvesting unit structure was designed, and the corresponding mathematical model was established and solved. Through the piezoelectric harvesting experimental platform, the performance has been obtained and comprehensive comparisons were conducted for cantilever piezoelectric harvester with and without isostress block. The results showed that under the same vibrational excitation condition, the piezoelectric harvester with isostress block had a higher current collection efficiency than that without isostress block; under low frequency excitation condition, when the excitation displacement is constant, the supercapacitor voltages of two devices gets decreased with the increase of excitation frequency; when the excitation frequency is constant, the supercapacitor voltages of two devices both increased with excitation displacement.
