Abstract:Underwater diamond wire saw is a flexible cutting tool that is safety and environmental protection, and has developed very rapidly in recent years. But the vibration in the cutting process of wire saw machine will not only affect the cutting efficiency, and will reduce its service life, which will affect the underwater construction. The wire saw machine was briefly described, and the dynamic characteristics of the cutting system were analyzed. By establishing and solving the kinetic equation, the tension change of beaded wire saw was described by longitudinal vibration characteristics. The lateral vibration characteristics of the beaded rope were further analyzed and were combined with the actual parameters of the wire saw cutting system. Then the simulation and experimental study were carried out. The results show that longitudinal and lateral vibrations occur with a certain coupling, when actual cutting frequency is close to the resonant frequency of the system, and beaded wire rope saw will be a greater vibration, which will lead to a series of adverse consequences, and must adjust the parameters to avoid this phenomenon.
