Abstract:Aiming at the problems existing in internal combustion engine (ICE) rail vehicle with low efficiency, low speed characteristics and serious displacement pollution in the use of subway or long tunnel, a new type of hydrostatic electric rail vehicle is put forward. The rail vehicle takes the battery instead of the ICE as the power source, static hydraulic transmission system to replace the original mechanical or hydraulic drive system. The new rail vehicle without waste gas emissions, can achieve continuous speed regulation, with high speed and high efficiency and good speed characteristics. The main parameters of the hydrostatic drive system of the electric rail vehicle were calculated, and based on the AMESim and Simulink software, the cosimulation of the hydrostatic drive system of the rail vehicle was carried out. The results show that the drive system has good starting and accelerating characteristics.
